There is interest in developing more benchmark & tutorial calculations (for SPH, grid codes; cratering, disruption, lab validation, etc.) that serve as:

1. Code validation and benchmark tests
   1. planar impact approximation/simple shock impedance tests
   2. Mohr’s circle landslide for rheology?
   3. shear stress on a box to test material behavior absent shock
2. Tutorial calculations for training new code users and students
3. Tutorials for lab experiments and data analyses at user facilities
4. Link to physics basis of shock-physics codes from PAGOSA if public
